What is Reverse Pitch?

An event at which top European and CIS-based funds pitch to entrepreneurs. We adapted a format used abroad to the Ukrainian market for the first time last year during Kiev Startup Week (http://kievstartupweek.com/) in order to provide entrepreneurs with an opportunity to find a suitable fund for their project and learn about some of the top criteria used by investors in their decision-making process.

There were three fundraising deals at the 2013 event, which we consider to be a solid result for the first edition.

Plans

We plan to gather up to 10 funds and 50-60 entrepreneurs from our network for the event is planned for April 22, just iForum (one of the largest events in IT in Ukraine). Furthermore, we intend to hold Reverse Pitch in conjunction with Startups Alley, a separate event to be held simultaneously, in order to increase its effectiveness.
